matilija creek weekend
it feels funny to be making a ‘travel’ entry these days, but even short jaunts away from home bring a sense of newness. a few weekends back, Austin and I lucked into a camp spot along the north fork of Matilija creek in the Ojai wilderness. the three-day getaway was filled with agreeable weather, calm creek visits and even a few waves and sandwiches at a nearby point break.
